Bryce brings to Propel more than 16 years of experience in developing innovative networking and imaging applications.
Bryce has long had a passion for communications technologies and structured systems. During the period when the Internet was experiencing explosive growth, he developed programs to connect BBS systems together and to the public Internet. He then joined Ashlar, Inc., maker of Vellum CAD software, where he helped craft a robust cross-platform development environment, improved the processes used by the software QA department, and managed the company's IT resources and Internet presence.
After Ashlar, Bryce joined Apple Computer where he led the team responsible for QuickTime VR, taking QuickTime VR from a research project into full integration with QuickTime and web browsers. He was also a core member of the team that shipped QuickTime-enabled media technologies in the first versions of OS X.
Bryce then founded RKG Engineering, specializing in imaging and communications technologies. Notable products included PiXiMation, winner of a Macworld Best of Show award; and PanoMetric, a photogrammetry tool based on panoramic imagery.
Bryce joined Propel in 2004 to create the Propel Accelerator Client for OS X. After a successful launch of the project, Bryce moved into his current architecture and management role, and is now responsible for all product development and operations activities at Propel.
