Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for design, configuration, backups and restoration of production database servers using MySQL and Oracle running on LINUX and Solaris operating systems. Design, implement and maintain production web applications while maintaining and integrating Propel server/client applications with other custom tools and monitoring applications. Create and develop new tools to monitor web applications to ensure high availability of service. Monitor and measure the performance of application servers, replicate reported issues from customers and collect appropriate data to resolve bugs. Work with strategic customers to resolve technical issues.
Requirements
The minimum requirements for the position are a Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field, one year of experience in computer science or a related field and experience with JDBC, Tomcat and JAXP.
