Propel Provides netINS With Acceleration
netINS Selects Propel Software to Accelerate Their 50K Plus Subscriber Base
April 16, 2004, ISPCON, Washington, DC, Propel Software Corporation, a leader in Internet acceleration today entered into a strategic relationship with netINS, a telecommunications firm based in Des Moines, Iowa. This newly formed relationship will provide Propel Accelerator software technology directly to netINS's 50K plus subscriber base to provide increased optimization in speed and performance. Aside from improving acceleration, Propel Accelerator is an easy-to-deploy hosting solution and provides netINS a flexible pricing model - ultimately providing the opportunity to implement strategies for subscriber growth and retention as well as improved margins and profitability.
"NetINS compared technologies from different acceleration companies and in the end, the features that Propel offered coupled with diligent assistance from the Propel team made our decision very simple," said Michael S. Eggley, CEO of netINS. "We really appreciated the dedicated attention we received from the staff at Propel. Their outstanding reseller support and their award-winning technology reflect our commitment to Independent Telephone Companies of Iowa."
This announcement is proof that accelerated dial-up capabilities are key differentiators when users choose an ISP. Propel has enhanced its pricing model to make universal deployment cost effective to ISPs, while delivering much higher margins to partners and allowing them to differentiate their services in a highly competitive market.
Eggley further commented that "we feel very strongly that the customers of the Independent Telephone Companies we serve need to have access to the same technologies delivered in larger markets. The services available to rural Iowans exceed those of many metropolitan markets. The netINS Accelerator is one more reason why the term "Digital Divide" has no meaning in Iowa."
"In addition to being the fastest Web acceleration solution on the market today, Propel Accelerator is also the most proven and reliable solution, with a user interface that clearly distinguishes itself for it's ease of use," said Steve Kirsch, CEO of Propel Software. "We are confident that netINS's deployment of our acceleration technology will increase their subscriber base and they will be able to respond to the growing demand for faster dial-up speeds at a fraction of the cost of broadband."
