Propel Q2 Revenue Exceeds Previous Quarter,
Company Continues Record Breaking Overseas Growth

SAN JOSE, Calif., August 22, 2005 — Propel Software Corporation (www.propel.com), a market leader in Internet acceleration solutions, today announced that its second quarter revenue has exceeded that of Q1, driven by the acquisition of new accounts and increasing revenue from its international customers. During Q2, Propel® signed new agreements with companies in Central and South America, Middle East, Europe and Asia.

"Propel is capitalizing on the rapid growth of international Internet usage by focusing its efforts on delivering Web and email acceleration to ISPs outside of North America,” said Peter Moulds, vice president of worldwide sales and marketing for Propel. “The international market continues to demand Internet acceleration, and Propel® Accelerator allows ISPs to deliver significant performance improvements to their subscribers, resulting in a superior Internet browsing and email experience.”

In addition to enhancing low-speed DSL and dial-up connections, Propel’s acceleration solutions deliver considerable performance improvements to mobile professionals using WiFi hotspots or 2.5G/3G mobile data. Propel international customers include Brazil-based Uai Estado de Minas, GUAMCELL Communications in Guam, LINKdotNET in Egypt, MWEB in South Africa, and others. U.S.-based customers include AT&T Worldnet, BellSouth, EarthLink, and PeoplePC Online, among others.

“The deployment of the Propel Accelerator has allowed Uai Estado de Minas to attract new customers and retain long-standing valued customers,” said Luiz Mendes Junior at Uai Estado de Minas. “By using the Propel Acceleration Server solution, the company now provides our Internet customers with an improved Web browsing and email experience. We are pleased with our choice of Propel because Propel provided a superior accelerator and easy implementation.”

Uai Estado de Minas delivers telecom services to Brazil residents and has extended the Propel Accelerator solution to its dial-up customers at little or no additional charge. By delivering an improved Web browsing and email experience, Uai Estado de Minas is able to increase customer satisfaction and reduce churn.

In May 2005, Propel launched the latest version of Propel Accelerator. Propel Accelerator version 5.1 features increased server capacity and improved image compression, delivering faster downloads and better-looking graphics at equivalent levels of acceleration when compared to competitors.
