Accelerator from Market Leader Propel Software Sets New Performance Standard with Higher Image Quality at the Fastest Acceleration Speeds

Featuring Propel's proprietary implementation of next generation compression, Propel Accelerator 5.0 is being previewed here at the ISP industry's largest annual conference. Propel Accelerator 5.0 will be available for ISPs later in November and current Propel Accelerator service subscribers will be able to download the free upgrade in early December. Propel Accelerator solutions are now deployed by more than 60 percent of the top U.S. ISPs that offer accelerated service.

Propel Accelerator 5.0 features a significant increase in overall Internet acceleration and an average of 24 percent improvement in image acceleration at the fastest speed settings. As a result, Propel Accelerator 5.0 delivers the highest quality images of any acceleration solution. Using proprietary implementation of wavelet compression technology and other new acceleration techniques, Propel provides rich web page graphics during compression at the fastest acceleration settings.
